Ingredients:
1 liter milk + 1 cup milk
1/2 cup rice
1.5 tablespoons rice flour
1 cup granulated sugar
For the topping:
Maraşım plain and cherry flavored ice cream
Instructions:
Wash and drain the rice and add just enough water to cover; boil. Add 1 liter of milk to the boiled rice and bring again to a boil while stirring. Mix rice flour with 1 cup of milk in a separate bowl. When the cooking milk comes to a boil, add the milk and rice flour mix and stir. Add the mixture to the saucepan with the boiling milk; cook for another 10 minutes while stirring. Add sugar and bring back to a boil.Cook until the mixture thickens. Pour the pudding into individual-sized bowls. Place the bowls in a baking dish. Add water to the tray until it is halfway up the sides of the bowls. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC until the tops begin to brown, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.Serve cooled a la mode with Maraşım plain and cherry flavored ice cream.
